We’re thrilled to introduce to you to Simple Blog, a way for you to easily create, edit, and publish blog posts to your Strikingly website. Over the past years, we’ve heard your feedback and have been hard at work translating the simplicity of Strikingly over to a blogging experience.
Simple Blog is a clean and clutter-free blogging experience, allowing you to focus on what’s really important: sharing your stories, showcasing your ideas, and creating a stronger connection between you and your audience.
How Simple Blog Works
Strikingly’s new feature functions as a blog section that you can add to any of your Strikingly sites. Your mobile optimized blog posts will appear within the blog section of your site and will link to individual post pages.
You can add a blog to any of your Strikingly sites and it’s available for all Strikingly accounts, and for both current and new users. We’ve also made it incredibly easy to get it set up. Just click “Add a Section” in the editor where you’ll see the option to add a “Blog” section to your page.
Simple Blog Functionalities
Available within the blog post editor, we’ve covered all the basics of your blogging needs with a simple media toolbar- getting out of the way for you to do your thing.
You can insert a variety of inline media including images, videos, call-to-action buttons, and quotes. It’s also easy to rearrange your content through the blog editor’s drag and drop functionality.
Each blog post page will have a big, beautiful cover image and a straightforward layout to make for a great editing and reading experience. The blog manager features a simple interface that allows you to customize how your blog posts will appear in the your new blog section.
We’ve made great efforts to simplify the blogging experience for new bloggers. However, Simple Blog also has social sharing, a commenting mechanism, and search engine optimization functionalities for experienced bloggers.
